Welcome to Trophy Club

A GOLFER’S PARADISE WITH SUBURBAN CHARM

This suburb of Fort Worth, Texas, is a sweet little town, a perfect oasis for residents who want equal access to the big city delights of Dallas-Fort Worth and the peace of suburbia. Trophy Club’s history has left its mark on the modern-day town, with the Medlin Cemetery memorializing its citizens since 1847. You can discern the town’s Pennsylvania Dutch influence in its spectacular architecture in the neighborhoods and downtown area.

Trophy Club is most well-known for its reputation as a golfer’s paradise. In the early 1970s, partners of a Fort Worth law firm convinced Ben Hogan, an acclaimed designer, to unretire and design an 18-hole, two-story golf club grand enough to host the major championships. By 1977, there was a prestigious 18-hole golf course, a two-story clubhouse, and grounds containing tennis courts, swimming pools, and restaurants. The legacy of affluent sportsmanship characterizes the thriving township of Trophy Club.

Things to Do

Independence Park East is a gem within the community. On top of having spectacular 13-acre grounds and a state-of-the-art baseball complex, it also hosts most events for Trophy Club. The annual Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration is the season's most anticipated event. Locals gather together to listen to live music, enjoy activities, feast on delicious food, and marvel at a spectacular fireworks display.

The park also pulls out all the stops for the holiday season for Christmas in the Park. Families and friends enjoy the Christmas tree lighting, the Mayor’s reading of ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas, the Beck and Lakeview Elementary choirs performing traditional Christmas songs, holiday-themed treats, face-painting, and pictures with Santa.

Springtime is also abuzz with festivals like the Taste of Trophy Club hosted in April. Trophy Club’s extensive food scene is displayed, allowing attendees to browse the wine, food, and fun to be had by all ages. EGGstravaganza is another spring celebration, with a park-wide egg hunt in honor of Easter.

What better way to foster community than by engaging in charitable events? Trophy Club’s Community Wide Garage Sales are always a hit, allowing residents to clear out their closets, garages, and homes of unwanted belongings and pass them along to someone else. Proceeds from the sales go back to the community through non-profit organizations.
