Welcome to Trophy Club
A GOLFER’S PARADISE WITH SUBURBAN CHARM
This suburb of Fort Worth, Texas, is a sweet little town, a perfect oasis for residents who want equal access to the big city delights of Dallas-Fort Worth and the peace of suburbia. Trophy Club’s history has left its mark on the modern-day town, with the Medlin Cemetery memorializing its citizens since 1847. You can discern the town’s Pennsylvania Dutch influence in its spectacular architecture in the neighborhoods and downtown area.
Trophy Club is most well-known for its reputation as a golfer’s paradise. In the early 1970s, partners of a Fort Worth law firm convinced Ben Hogan, an acclaimed designer, to unretire and design an 18-hole, two-story golf club grand enough to host the major championships. By 1977, there was a prestigious 18-hole golf course, a two-story clubhouse, and grounds containing tennis courts, swimming pools, and restaurants. The legacy of affluent sportsmanship characterizes the thriving township of Trophy Club.
